Happy humpday gang. I hope that each of you are having a great week so far. I am going to be honest, I am half falling asleep right now, so I am going to keep this short and sweet. The name of the game today is gingham. What is gingham? Look it up. I mean it, the actual meaning of the word and and it's origination is actually quite different than what we refer to as "gingham" in today's fashion world. I guess that is what happens when you take something that originated (gingham fabric) over 500 years ago...some details are bound to get lost in the shuffle. For today's post sake, I will refer to gingham as the checkered pattern that we have come to know it as, and in particular, I am referring to this top from caralorenshop that I absolutely love. It's clean, sharp, simple, and sexy and is a top that can be worn for multiple occasions. Wear it to meetings, to run errands, on a night out, to lunch...any of the above and it will be a top that looks great. I kept it simple and paired it with jeans, booties, and some shades here.
