Denim. I know I have been quite outspoken about my love for denim. It is a love that will never fade and one that has been with me since I can remember wearing clothes. I love jeans, always have, and always will. However for Brody, his denim journey has been a little different. So true story, if you knew him in high school, and even throughout much of college, you would have rarely, if ever, seen him wearing a pair of jeans. He honestly doesn't even remember owning a pair of jeans in high school haha! I honestly can't even fathom that. If you talk to him about it or ask those who knew him best then, both he and they will say that he was all about that sweats, athletic shorts, and cargo pants life. Fast forward to his final year in college and he finally started to show some love for denim. Fast forward to now, and jeans have become one of his go-to's and a staple in his wardrobe. Why the change? Why the new found love for denim? Well, for one, let's say his own personal sense of style has stepped up it's game in a big way. But a big reason for his new love of denim, is in the jeans themselves. The fit, the look, the feel, and the options have played a significant role in Brod adding jeans to his regular everyday repertoire.
And the jeans he is wearing in today's post are a perfect example of that. The fit is fantastic. Brody likes his jeans to fit slim, and 7 for All Mankind has recently launched a few new pair of slim-fit jeans that are right on point for what he is looking for. One thing that Brody said he loves particularly about these jeans are in the way that they fit slim and look slim, but they don't give up anything in the comfort and what he calls "stretch" category. They are as comfortable as any jean he has worn before. He can dress them up, or keep it casual as he is in the pictures below and feel confident in the look and feel of the denim. It's crazy to me how important that is when it comes to fashion and style. I must admit, as he has increased his love for denim over the years, it has secretly brought a big smile to my face, because now I feel like he has a small glimpse into the love I have for such a classic and timeless piece of clothing.
