So, winter is here. Full force. Cold winds, snow on the ground, bitter temperatures, and no apologies. What does that mean? Other than sipping enormous amounts of hot cocoa, staying cozy by the fire, and Brod being depressed because he can't golf and me celebrating because he can't haha....what else does it mean? It means that it is time to break out the winter wardrobe. And here is the point I want to make with today's post...staying bundled and cozy doesn't mean that you still can't be fashionable. There are plenty of options and looks that facilitate both, staying warm and looking great!! When it comes to finding winter pieces that are both fashionable and fit for winter, Macy's has a fantastic selection and one brand I am particularly keen on right now is Lucky! Their jeans are always high quality, super stretchy and comfortable. They have a wide range in style and fit...high-rise, mid-rise, skinny, classic, and boyfriend. They pretty much run the gamut on fit and style when it comes to jeans. For my cozy winter look I then added a button-up thermal with cute details on the sleeve and back, and finished it with a moto leather jacket. One note on the jacket, I like that is not just plain black, but has a sort of greyish (probably not a word) distressed look to it that gives the leather a different look. All in all, this look is a fantastic combination of style and warmth. Would I go skiing in it? Probably not haha, but for a day out in or even a casual night out, this look nails it and keeps me warm enough without sacrificing style. As I mentioned above, Lucky has it going on right now and its all happening at Macy's, whether it be dresses, jackets, jeans, tops, or boots...their selection is vast and Lucky has always had a classic look in my book. Best of luck to all of you who are getting that last minute holiday shop on! Thanks so much for following and remember that bundling up doesn't mean losing a single step on fashion. You can have the best of both worlds! Have a great day!!
