It's Valentine's guys. Love day. The day we celebrate love and being in love and falling in love and everything else that comes with it. I love Valentine's Day...and not because it's an event, or a reason to go out, or buy gifts, or give flowers, or any of that. I love Valentine's Day because it is a day that celebrates love. Man oh man, I wish we celebrated love every single day, because to me, and my family, that is what life is all about. My hope and focus is to take principle behind Valentine's Day, a celebration of love, and do my best to apply that to every day that I am alive! It's crazy to think that I have been married to Brod almost 9 years and have known him for 10, time goes by so fast! The best thing about that though...I can honestly say I am more in love with him now than I have ever been. He really is the best and there is nothing better than being in love with your best friend!!
Wow, ok super mushy stuff today, I guess I am getting all sorts of wrapped up in this Valentine's Day spirit haha! But seriously, focusing on the love we have in our life can make all the difference and finding ways to strengthen and renew the love each of us have in our lives is something we should be striving to do each day. Part of love is showing it to others, I have often heard the quote by Shakespeare, "they do not love that do not show their love." Whether it be through acts of service, gifts, handwritten notes, hugs, kisses, date night, new outfits, or whatever you decide the best way to show your love to your significant other might be....please make sure to SHOW it!! Don't assume they know you love them, show them, tell them, and do it again and again!
