Hello lovelies. It's Tuesday and we have a had a wonderful long weekend here at the VB household. As you might have seen, I turned 27 on Sunday and Brod and my boys spoiled me all weekend. I am so unbelievably thankful for my family, friends, and all of you for the love that I was shown and for the comments left regarding my birthday. Birthdays are such a funny thing, they are so exciting and eventful when you are little, and then as you grow older they seem to take on more of a somber feeling because you are getting older and all that jazz. Well, I've decided to celebrate growing older, and choose to be grateful for another year of this amazing experience of life and look at growing older as a blessing and something to cherish. So bring on 27! I am thankful for the opportunities I am given each day and I am going to continue to love and enjoy each and every day I have!
So today's post features my little men Hanes, Arrow (who is the middle of potty training by the way and finally catching on....thank goodness!!), and I catching some summer rays. One of our go-to activities during this hotter than normal summer has been to get our swim on. With us swimming so much, I have been even more obsessed ( I know hard to imagine haha) with finding new swimwear. I don't know what it is but I love finding new swim pieces and mixing up different styles, cuts, prints, and brands when it comes to swim. Today features a striped and floral one-piece that fits like a glove and is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I love the fit, and the sort of vintage vibe it gives, not only because it's a one-piece but the print seems to take me back 30 years...in a good way!
